The Frame Hotel – SoCo is a new modular hotel located at 110 West Elizabeth St., directly behind Güero's Taco Bar on South Congress Avenue on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024. With 22 suites, the hotel is a new concept in luxury lodging for Austin. It features keyless entry and unlike traditional hotels has no lobby, pool, restaurant or valet parking. "Our goal is to provide discerning travelers with a tranquil retreat that feels both intimate and uniquely Austin," said Richard Lent, who developed the hotel along with the owners of Güero's, Cathy, Lyle and Bette Lippincott.

The hotel, a new concept in luxury lodging for Austin, eschews traditional amenities like a front desk, key cards, restaurant and pool in favor of high-quality design choices and other custom features, including a courtyard with native landscaping, "that allow guests to reconnect with themselves and their surroundings," Lent said. With 22 suites, the hotel officially opens Dec. 2. One guest described it as "a little green oasis tucked away in the middle of the city."
